Well tough horrible lost last night for the Rangers. I only watched some of the game, unfortunately it was in the 8th when the Yanks crushed the Rangers bullpen. That’s the one thing I did not talk about for the Rangers because I knew it wasn’t the best bullpen but I thought they have good enough starters to go 7 innings, so just find a set up man and their good. Well they couldn’t find one, Darren Oliver I thought could have been the one but he just walks guys when he comes in. It will be hard for the Rangers to come back for that type of lose but we’ll see if they can do it. I think with the Rangers bullpen so bad and them giving into the hype of the Pin Stripes like the Twins did, they just expected the Yanks to come back and every single guy left a pitch over the plate for them to hit. It is a shame really who will put the Yanks in their place, Boston did it down 3-0 in the 2004 ALCS. Than again Boston and their fans are just as annoying as the Yanks, although I hate the Yanks more. The Rangers need to win game 2 and I know they have a great chance of winning game 3 with Cliff Lee on the mound. Game 2 their going up against Phil Hughes and he will leave some pitches up in the later innings, so watch for a 6th or 7th inning rally if the Rangers are down. Another game is going on as well and that is a pitchers duel on paper for sure. Lincecum and Halladay in game one, I’m going to go out on a line and say Lincecum will win the game and come through only if the Giants can get a hit off Halladay. For the series it is hard to go against the Phils, but if any team can match up pitching against the Phils it is indeed the Giants. So they have a good chance as long as they score some runs and keep it a low scoring game.
